Highest quality equipment	We use Sun minicomputers, not inexpensive PC clones. Famous for their their uncompromising quality, these costly workstations are the most reliable systems available. Our network has operated flawlessly since monitor.net began in the summer of 1995 -- not a single "crash."
No traffic jams during rush hour	Monitor's "highway" to the Internet is more than twice the size we actually need. Even during the hours when the network is the busiest, our customers never have delays because too many others are using our system.
Low modem to user ratio	We use the best quality V.90 modems made, and also have a greater proportion of those (expensive) modems available, which means that you shouldn't get busy signals, even during busiest times.
Experience	There's more to operating an Internet service than just having the best equipment. Even the most expensive computers and modems will be useless if the company can't quickly solve inevitable problems that arise.
